SEIU 1021 Port of Oakand workers struck on November 19th and November

20th, 2012 in an unfair labor action against the port bosses. 

The Port management and Oakland Port Board Of Directors 

who are appointed by Jean Quan the Democratic mayor of Oakland

have demanded major concessions and give-backs of the two 

hundred employees. They were joined by other union workers from

Port of Vancouver, growers nervously monitor grain talks "new contracts include concessions that favor the employers over laborers. In Longview, for example, the concessions enable Export Grain Terminal to seek damages for work stoppages."
