The Transport Workers Solidarity Committee is deeply saddened to hear about the passing of our past member and comrade, Eugene (Gino) Pepi.
Gino's family were immigrants from Italy who became part of the trade union movement, and Gino was a working-class militant his entire life. As a member of ATU 1555 and long-time BART employee, Gino was a Trotskyist, an internationalist who devoted his life to the political organization of the working class on a revolutionary program.
