9/8 Seattle Public Rally-Say No To Bus Cuts And Labor Concessions
PUBLIC RALLY
SAY NO TO BUS CUTS AND LABOR CONCESSIONS!
MON. SEPT. 8, 12NOON – 2pm
6TH AVE. S. AND S. ROYAL BROUGHAM (by Stadium station.)
RIDERS AND TRANSIT WORKERS UNITE! Metro has already suffered $798 million in cuts. Yet more cuts are coming in September and beyond. ATU 587 members sacrificed $60 million in concessions over the 2010-13 contract. Now management wants over $100 million more in takeaways. Cuts are sacrificing the quality of Metro bus service.

12/16 Seattle Public Rally to Say NO! to Bus Cuts and Contract Concessions!
What: Seattle Public Rally to Say NO! to Bus Cuts and Contract Concessions!
When: Monday, Dec. 16, 12noon – 2pm
Where: 6th Ave. S. & Royal Brougham (by Stadium station.)
Why: Transit workers at Metro/King County are facing a labor contract
proposal that attacks full-time, family-wage jobs and balances Metro’s
budget on the backs of workers. Ongoing service cuts, punishing schedules,
and worsening conditions are putting quality public transit in jeapordy!
